Pray for Unreached People Groups

Jesus gave us the Great Commission, telling us to go into "all the world and make disciples of all nations" (Mt. 28:19,20) and that when we accomplish this task, then the end will come! (Mt. 24:14) Global Frontier Missions knows that intercessory prayer will be foundational for seeing the unreached people groups of the world experience God's glory. Praying is a way that every single Christian can get involved in missions, so we've provided the following resources so that you, your family, your small group, and your church can be praying for the nations on a regular basis. These resources could be a great addition to your current time with the Lord, and we encourage every small group to implement one of these options into their regular prayer time. Ask the Lord of the harvest to send more laborers into the harvest field (Lk. 10:2), but don't be surpised if while you are praying, you end up being the first one that feels the call to go! (Lk. 10:3)

Joshua Project has an unreached people group of the day that can be added to your website, inbox, facebook page, rss, or iphone as a great reminder to stand in the gap for those that have never heard. Each unreached people group has a profile listing excellent cultural, historical, and religious background on the group as well as specific prayer requests. We highly recommend getting signed up to receive the unreached people group of the day.



Operation World is probably the best resource for praying systematically country by country. You can pray for the country of the day using the book, the CD-ROM, or the website.

Global Prayer Digest is a unique devotional booklet. Each day it gives a glimpse of what God is doing around the world, and what still remains to be done.
